Rebecca was born and raised in Manchester, NH. In 2003 she had her first pet, a cat named Purrkins who was a rescue from the Manchester Animal Shelter. She always had a love and passion for animals but while in High School her passion grew more. In 2013 she adopted a 3 month old Pomeranian from the Manchester Animal Shelter and her passion and love grew stronger for animals. His original name was Chuck Beary but was renamed to Buddy. Buddy was more than just a pet, he is part of the family. But sadly there are those times when Buddy could not attend vacations, long beach days, long ski days or even long work days. She would always worry and stress when he had to be left alone, and found it difficult to hire someone the family could trust in their home and with their fur baby, Buddy. It was also an inconvenience to others for when they would ask neighbors or family members to help and let him out to potty & play. In 2014 she began to work at various kennels and doggy daycare facilities in New Hampshire. She then knew she wanted to dedicate all her time to ensuring pets got the love and care they deserve for when their owners have to be at work or away. In 2019 she graduated from Plymouth State University with her Bachelor Degree in Business Management with a concentration in small business/entrepreneurship and a minor in professional communication. Loaded with passion and with 5 years of pet care experience, The Buddies LLC was established in July 2019.  Rebecca became a proud member of Pet Sitter’s International (PSI) in 2019 which is the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters.
